{"id":8078,"date":"2021-11-03T17:05:32","date_gmt":"2021-11-03T09:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/sarawak\/?p=8078"},"modified":"2023-06-06T10:09:59","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T02:09:59","slug":"covid-19-did-not-dampen-our-halloween-spirit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/sarawak\/covid-19-did-not-dampen-our-halloween-spirit\/","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19 did not dampen our Halloween spirit!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 29<sup>th<\/sup> October 2021, the Student Affairs Department with the support of the Student Representative Council threw a Halloween Party at the Theatrette Hall, Main Campus, SEGi College Sarawak.<\/p>\n<p>The party brought together the new students from June, August, and October Intake 2021 to have a ghoulish time with food, games, and everyone\u2019s favourite \u2013 the Halloween costume contest. Twelve participants had their scariest, most gruesome and revolting outfits on and participated in the contest.<\/p>\n<p>Jong Qiao Xuan from the Diploma in Business Administration won the Best Costume this Halloween Party. In the game session, Abu Daniel Haqim Bin Abu Sofian from A-Levels won the 1<sup>st<\/sup> prize, followed by first runner-up, Cornelius Chundi Lingoh from the Diploma in Culinary Arts, and the second runner-up was Chang Sook Chien from the BA (Hons) Business and Management 3+0. The bonus game was won by Aiman Harith Bin Sabri from the Certificate in Science.
