On 28 July 2023, SEGi reaffirmed its commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8) by hosting a groundbreaking career talk and fair. This unique event, organised collaboratively by the Faculty of Communication, Design, and Information Technology (FOCADIT) and the Faculty of Hospitality, aimed to raise awareness about diverse job opportunities, aligning with SDG 8’s focus on promoting decent work for all and fostering sustainable economic growth.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The college’s proactive approach to supporting SDG 8 showcased its dedication to empowering students and job seekers to make informed career choices that contribute positively to society and the economy. By merging communication, design, information technology, and hospitality fields, the collaboration between FOCADIT and the Faculty of Hospitality underscored SEGi’s commitment to interdisciplinary approaches in career development. This innovative strategy exposed students to various industries and career paths, enhancing their potential for success and adaptability in the ever-evolving job market.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
