The session, held at the college&#8217;s theatrette, aimed to provide insights and practical strategies for managing preschoolers in a supportive learning environment.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The chairperson, Josephine Lim, opened the session with a warm welcome and introduced the guest speaker, Lee Yau. She began the session by emphasising the importance of early childhood classroom management, explaining how it improves children&#8217;s learning and development.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Lee Yau shared her experiences and insights on various topics related to classroom management, such as setting up the physical environment, establishing routines, developing positive relationships, dealing with challenging behaviour, and working with parents, during the sharing session.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Lee Yau stressed the significance of establishing routines and expectations early in the school year. She also provided the audience with techniques for dealing with challenging behaviour and involving parents in classroom management.
