{"id":19871,"date":"2022-12-15T12:00:30","date_gmt":"2022-12-15T04:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/sarawak\/?p=19871"},"modified":"2023-06-06T09:47:27","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T01:47:27","slug":"segi-debaters-reach-grand-finals-of-sarawak-debate-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/sarawak\/segi-debaters-reach-grand-finals-of-sarawak-debate-open\/","title":{"rendered":"SEGi Debaters reach grand finals of Sarawak Debate Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By Mr Samuel Desmond Tuah, Lecturer, Faculty of Law<\/p>\n<p>On 26 and 27 November 2022, the SEGi College Sarawak Debating joined the Sarawak Debate Open organised by Intertext, which included teams of 14 teams and 28 debaters from all over Malaysia and the World.<\/p>\n<p>The SEGi team comprising Harris Kueh Ren Jin and Samuel Desmond Tuah, was able to break to the Grand Finals after winning the physical knockout stages, defeating the likes of Swinburne and MMU on their way to the Finals.
