Centred on the theme <em data-start=\"343\" data-end=\"383\">\u201cSustainovation for a Greener Nation,\u201d<\/em> the event brought together innovative minds from across leading institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"800\">Representing SEGi College Penang under the <strong data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"564\">Bachelor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)<\/strong> programme, the team competed in Category C with their impactful project, the <em data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"665\">DonorLink Application<\/em>. The project demonstrated how technology can be leveraged to address real-world challenges, particularly within the healthcare sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"1196\">The DonorLink Application is a comprehensive digital platform designed to enhance the <strong data-start=\"888\" data-end=\"916\">blood donation ecosystem<\/strong>. Key features include donor registration, real-time blood supply tracking, appointment scheduling, and awareness notifications. The system also integrates collaboration with NGOs and healthcare organisations, ensuring a more efficient, connected, and responsive donation process.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1198\" data-end=\"1492\">Led by <strong data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1228\">Calvin Ng Wei Keong<\/strong>, alongside team members <strong data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1308\">Melvin Lee Chia Hwa, Cheong Kai Qi, and Stefani Ang<\/strong>, the group showcased strong technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork. Their project stood out for its practical implementation and its ability to create meaningful social impact.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1781\">The competition featured participants from various institutions, including SEGi University, UTM, UPM, USM, and IPK College. Competing at such a high level, the team successfully secured a <strong data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1698\">Silver Medal<\/strong>, marking a significant achievement and reflecting their dedication and innovation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"2087\">This accomplishment highlights the ability of SEGi College Penang students to develop <strong data-start=\"1869\" data-end=\"1901\">solution-driven technologies<\/strong> that address real societal needs.
