This accomplishment marks another milestone in the college\u2019s journey of innovation excellence and student success.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"977\">The <strong data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"511\">NewGen World Innovation Challenge (NeWIC)<\/strong> is a prestigious national-level innovation competition jointly organised with Kolej KEDA. As part of the TVET Madani Carnival, the event aims to recognise outstanding innovation, encourage creative thinking, and strengthen technical excellence among participants. It also provides a dynamic platform for young innovators to showcase impactful ideas, enhance TVET-related competencies, and cultivate a strong innovation culture within Malaysia\u2019s education ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"979\" data-end=\"1385\">At NeWIC 2025, SEGi College Penang competed under the <strong data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1062\">Consumer Product Category<\/strong>, presenting an innovative solution designed to address real-world community challenges. The team, led by <strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1183\">Lee Kai Min<\/strong> and assisted by <strong data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1217\">Tan Kai Xiang<\/strong>, impressed the judges with their project, the <strong data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1294\">Tridence Management System<\/strong>, which stood out for its creativity, practicality, and effective problem-solving approach.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1844\">The <strong data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1421\">Tridence Management System<\/strong> is a comprehensive residential management platform developed to support the local community in Penang, particularly in Georgetown, where limited parking spaces and logistical constraints pose daily challenges. The system streamlines residential operations by recording visitor entries digitally, eliminating manual logs, and enabling the rental of parking spaces or residential units for both short-term and long-term use.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"2247\">In addition, the system allows residents who are temporarily away to make their parking spaces or homes available to others, while efficiently managing visitor parking and overnight bookings. With its user-friendly design and practical features, the Tridence Management System addresses genuine community needs, improves convenience, and enhances overall productivity in densely populated urban areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"2247\">The innovative design and confident presentation of the Tridence Management System enabled SEGi College Penang to secure the <strong data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"2864\">Silver Medal<\/strong>, demonstrating the students\u2019 ability to compete successfully on high-level national innovation platforms. SEGi College Penang extends its heartfelt congratulations to <strong data-start=\"3032\" data-end=\"3047\">Lee Kai Min<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"3049\" data-end=\"3066\">Tan Kai Xiang<\/strong>, and everyone involved in this project.
