{"id":22969,"date":"2025-09-30T12:11:29","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T04:11:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/penang\/?p=22969"},"modified":"2026-03-02T15:45:59","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T07:45:59","slug":"unity-in-culture-celebrating-diversity-and-togetherness-at-segi-college-penang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/penang\/unity-in-culture-celebrating-diversity-and-togetherness-at-segi-college-penang\/","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\udf0d Unity in Culture: Celebrating Diversity and Togetherness at SEGi College Penang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"92\" data-end=\"472\">The <strong data-start=\"96\" data-end=\"116\">Unity in Culture<\/strong> event, celebrated as a Traditional Day, was successfully held on <strong data-start=\"182\" data-end=\"205\">30th September 2025<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"213\" data-end=\"264\">Lobby of the Main Building, SEGi College Penang<\/strong>, from <strong data-start=\"271\" data-end=\"298\">10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.<\/strong> Organised collaboratively by <strong data-start=\"328\" data-end=\"371\">SRC, OSH, SEGian Care, and the ECE Club<\/strong>, the event brought together SEGi staff and students for a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"474\" data-end=\"881\">The purpose of Unity in Culture was to create an inclusive platform where participants could come together to embrace and appreciate the richness of different cultures. The event encouraged individuals to proudly showcase their heritage through traditional attire, cultural performances, food, and artistic expressions, while also providing opportunities to learn about the customs and traditions of others.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"1191\">A key objective of the event was to promote cultural awareness and deepen participants\u2019 understanding of diverse customs and practices. By engaging in various cultural activities, attendees were able to gain new insights and develop greater respect for the multicultural community within SEGi College Penang.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"1191\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-22970 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/penang\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2026\/01\/IMG_6007-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"547\" height=\"364\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1193\" data-end=\"1495\">The event also aimed to strengthen bonds among participants by fostering mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation. Through shared experiences and interactions, Unity in Culture created a welcoming environment that celebrated differences while highlighting common values that unite the community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1787\">In addition, the organising committees focused on encouraging teamwork and collaboration throughout the planning and execution of the event.
