{"id":19979,"date":"2022-12-29T12:00:41","date_gmt":"2022-12-29T04:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/penang\/?p=19979"},"modified":"2023-06-06T09:48:58","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T01:48:58","slug":"fundraising-for-welfare-homes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/penang\/fundraising-for-welfare-homes\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundraising for welfare homes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BITHM and BSCOMP students from SEGi College Penang\u2019s School of Information Technology and School of Hospitality and Tourism Management organised a fundraising event from 11 October to 14 October 2022 at SEGi College Penang.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of this charity-based event was to raise SEGi students\u2019 awareness to help those needy people by donating old books, clothes, toys, and cash. Therefore, our students placed a few boxes in the SEGi lobby to collect these items from our students.<\/p>\n<p>The students also designed a poster and advertised it on social media to draw our students\u2019 attention to their event. They also put up the poster on the students\u2019 notice board as well.
