On February 14, more than any other day of the year, romantic couples shower their better halves with gifts and tokens of appreciation. Much about Valentine\u2019s Day is well known. The handwritten cards, chocolate hearts and red roses are all staples of the annual tradition. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7753 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/valrn-232x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/valrn-232x300.jpg 232w, https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/valrn.jpg 649w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 232px) 100vw, 232px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Led by the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts (SOHTCA), SEGi College Kuala Lumpur held a Valentine\u2019s Day lunch under the Food and Beverage Management subject on 18<sup>th<\/sup> February 2022. It was by the students from the\u00a0 Diploma in Hotel Management.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7755 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/va-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"242\" height=\"286\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The students enjoyed hands-on experience and learnt the importance of service speed and timing, providing high-quality service in a style that is in line with the type of clientele who frequent five-star restaurants. The students were reminded of the importance of having a strong impact on the customer experience at a restaurant and the fact that service staff should approach every situation with a helpful and positive attitude to create a pleasant atmosphere even when problems occur. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7754 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/va-2-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/va-2-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/colleges.segi.edu.my\/kualalumpur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2022\/03\/va-2.jpg 313w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This experience gave the students substantial workplace exposure by bringing industrial practice into the classroom.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Valentine\u2019s Day is the day we celebrate love.
