Occupational Safety and Health encompass practices, policies, and protocols designed to safeguard employees from workplace hazards and promote their well-being. It addresses a range of aspects, including physical safety, psychological health, ergonomic design, emergency response planning, and the provision of a supportive work environment. OSH doesn’t just mitigate risks; it cultivates an atmosphere in which employees feel valued, protected, and empowered.<\/p>\n

Allied Health and Nursing Club, SEGi College Kuala Lumpur has organized Occupational Safety & Health Day (OSH) . This event was conducted by Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, students, assisted by.Pritharshini. OSH Day consisted of two sessions, <\/span>9.30-12pm: Alumni Talk<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>2.00pm-4.00pm: Games<\/span><\/b>. The objective of this program is to celebrate the WORLD OSH DAY.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The alumni talk was conducted by inviting alumni from Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Jenny Goh who is currently working at Infinite Project Management Sdn Bhd as a Safety and Health Officer and Health, Safety, Security & Environment Manager. She shared her experiences and challenges on her journey on becoming a Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Manager. The event was continued with group registration of participants for Games. There were three games in total and prize were given for the first three winners of each game.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Creating a culture of workplace well-being requires a collective effort. Employers play a pivotal role in setting the tone by prioritizing employee safety and health as integral components of their operational framework.<\/p>\n
