School of Education and SEGi Marketing Kuala Lumpur organised a talk for the teachers of VIP Kindergarten Seri Petaling. The talk was on Early Childhood Education in the 21<\/span>st<\/span> century. The teachers who were a team of vibrant youngsters were mostly SPM leavers looking to pursue a tertiary education.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The talk started with an introduction to Early Childhood Education in the 21<\/span>st<\/span> century. The future teachers were highlighted on the importance of quality and qualified Early Childhood educators as it would give them a sense of responsibility knowing how important their role is in the early childhood field. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides that, they were briefed about the important skills needed for young pre-schoolers today. These skills comprise of learning & innovation skills, digital literacy skills and life & career skills which will allow future teachers to prepare preschool children in the modern world. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The teachers had many questions regarding early childhood education and its growth in Malaysia and they also took a career test to see their best fit career. To their surprise, most of them were aligned to the service field.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the end, they also had a preview on the Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education programme that SEGi KL had to offer. They were happy that it was something that they were looking for. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>As a team of lecturers and counsellors, they look forward to hosting many more sessions and talks that will bring an impact for young SPM leavers. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
