On 23 February 2023, SEGi College Kuala Lumpur’s School of Computing and Information Technology (SOCIT) hosted a Microsoft Word poster design competition. The competition aimed to encourage students to use their creativity, knowledge, and Microsoft Word skills.
The competition required students to create a poster using Microsoft Word in three hours. The event featured eight students from the Schools of Computing and Information Technology and Business and Law, who demonstrated their enthusiasm and skills.
Despite some difficulties in designing the posters, all participants completed the task within the time limit, demonstrating their newly acquired knowledge and skills. The competition demonstrated that creating posters does not only require various software tools available on the internet, but that posters can also be created using Microsoft Word.
The event was a huge success and provided an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their skills and creativity. Students were able to apply their knowledge in a practical setting as a result of the competition, which enhanced their learning experience.
