An event that provided a boon to the number of our participants!
It was a limelight shining period for SEGi Kuala Lumpur the moment we were nominated to conduct the above grooming workshop in collaboration with HRDF and Skills Gauge.
On the 8th September 2020, the first group of participants indulged in a challenge to groom and drive towards their dreams. With the current pandemic which jolted the entire world, this workshop is a breakthrough for those in search of possible career advancement and independent opportunities for personal and professional development.
This four-day event has transformed the participants by giving optimistic self-representation of themselves that is much needed in today’s challenging environment. The journey of this event served as a balance in the understanding of personality traits, self-grooming to conquer the real world, some fun with the French culture and the need to be IR 4.0 savvy.
Trainers and participants were very emotionally indulgent and the expected outcomes were adequately realized.
Concurrently, HRDF visited us to ensure quality assurance and were very impressed with the entire program management. Their response was a boost for SEGi Kuala Lumpur in the form of an offer to conduct the next program. Participants departed with an abundance of knowledge from the training, an awareness of career connections, a certificate of Achievement from SEGi-HRDF, a manicure set and RM200 cash each.
This is definitely an honour and privilege to SEGi Kuala Lumpur to be associated with the government and duly recognized. Recognition for the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts is seen now with more invitations on industry collaborations.
Look out for the next upcoming event!
