In adhering to the Government’s Movement Control Order announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on 16 March 2020, SEGi University and Colleges will be closing all its premises in Kota Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, Subang, Penang, and Sarawak, effective 18 March 2020 to 31 March 2020.
The Movement Control Order, which is made under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967, has ordered for the closure of all non-essential business premises and public and private education institutions nationwide, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
SEGi’s public events and programmes, including the upcoming Open Day, have been cancelled in adherence to the prohibition of mass gathering.
Online classes are available. Students are requested to communicate with relevant Faculties regarding their classes and examinations scheduled from 18 March to 31 March via phone, official Facebook channels, website or Blackboard application.
All operational and management staff are to refer to their respective Head of Departments and contact Group Human Resource Management for clarification regarding alternative work arrangements and business as usual continuity plan in the said period.
